‘ONE DAY’ TOURISM CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED TO INSPIRE FUTURE TRAVELLERS TO THE WESTERN CAPE

Wesgro, the Western Cape’s official Tourism Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, has announced the launch of the “One Day” campaign to support the tourism industry in the Western Cape during the Coronavirus crisis.

This innovative campaign uses digital content tools to virtually showcase our beautiful province to those currently in lockdown in South Africa, and around the world, reminding them that one day Cape Town and the Western Cape will again be open for them to explore and experience.  Read more

WELLINGTON WINE WEDNESDAY FIND A NEW HOME

The wildly popular Wine Wednesday has found a new home and will move to Au d’Hex Estate in March. Wine lovers should note that the March event has moved to Thursday 19 March 2020 to accommodate the Absa Cape Epic.  Stages four to six will be hosted in Wellington and the race village is located adjacent to Au d’Hex Estate.

WELLINGTON AND PAARL TO HOST THE WORLD’S BIGGEST MTB STAGE RACE

Paarl and Wellington will be proud host towns when the Absa Cape Epic is staged for the seventeenth time in March this year.  Wellington will host participants and supporters from 19 – 22 March 2020 for stages four to seven, while Paarl will host the grand finale at Val de Vie on 22 March 2020. Entries are capped at 650 two-person team, which means approximately 1300 riders will be able to explore these two spectacular Boland towns. Read more
