
Stephan du Toit invites you to join him in a private open air tasting in Mont du Toit’s indigenous garden.
Enjoy six wines against the backdrop of the majestic Hawequa mountain, with panoramic views stretching from Riebeeck mountain over Paardeberg, the Paarl Rock and Simonsberg to the west. After the tasting, a leisurely walk through the garden to take in this sample of Cape biome, to learn the names of the plants.
Enjoy the final glass as the setting sun turns the Hawequa mountain pink for a brief 30 seconds.
Groups must consist of a minimum of four persons and a maximum of eight. Available dates are 13 November, 27 November, 11 December and 18 December 2020.
The event starts at 4 pm with a walk through vineyards and olive trees (walking shoes a must). At the tasting you will also sample fresh bread, Mont du Toit olive oils and olives. And you will receive a bottle of our wine to take home, to remind you of the mountain. The event ends by 7pm at the latest.
Cost:
Minimum inclusive charge of R1200 for a group of four, rising to R1800 for a group of eight.
