Originally a dried fruit farm the main house was built in 1921 as a Cape Victorian Villa and later converted to the Cape Dutch Revival Style.

After a few renovations the house still breathes the rich history of its surroundings.

One of the old barns have been transformed into very spacious rooms. They are all individually styled, with attention to detail & comfort, having spectacular views over the surrounding mountains and vineyards.

Through the years we have become a home away from home for many business people and tourists, who return time and again.

Our location makes Soete Huys the perfect choice for visitors to the various training institutions, as well as holiday makers wanting a restf "platteland" experience while still being close enough to the Wellington town center and the main attractions in and around Cape Town & Cape Peninsula.
