Oupa Attie's Guest House is a converted South African Railways residential dwelling dating back to the 1900's and is situated at Malanstasie alongside the main railway line from Cape Town to the North. Regular train services pass by as well as the exclusive Blue Train and Rovos Rail heading for such destinations as Victoria Falls and Dar es Salaam.
The property now also includes an Olive grove of some 500 trees that produce olives commercially for both table and oil. Wine producing vineyards surround the property which is roughly 7 kilometers from the historical town of Wellington.
OTHER INFORMATION
We offer four comfortable bedrooms
Main Bedroom:
Contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a Victorian bath and seperate shower cubicle, toilet and basin.
Note:
Small children can be accommodated in the adjoining "Reading Room" on two single beds in need.
Two bedrooms:
One has a double bed and the other bedroom has two single beds. Both these rooms have a choice of bathrooms - 1 with a shower, basin and toilet the other bathroom has a bath, basin and toilet.
The above 3 rooms and reading room can be seperated to form a private family suite.
The Fourth Bedroom:
Forms a private suite and looks out onto the swimming pool - contains a double bed with
en-suite shower, basin and toilet.
All the rooms are wheelchair-accessible.
The Guest House is Pet Friendly however prior arrangements must be made to accommodate pets.
