Wellington Mountain Bike Trails at Welvanpas
WELLINGTON MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL AT WELVANPAS
Come and experience the beauty you never knew existed in the Western Cape. The trail is challenging, but rewarding. Stop at the top of the climbs to absorb it all. The reward for your effort is fast, technical single track with breathtaking views!
ROUTE OVERVIEW
The route starts and ends at Welvanpas farm which is nestled between the beautiful Hawekwa and Groenberg mountain ranges. It is mainly single track and winds through orchard, vineyard, waterfalls and pristine fynbos.
There are three routes to choose from with different technical levels.
The blue route is 10km and ideal for a nice warm up! The white route is known for its challenging single track and probably the most sheltered from the three routes. This route is 18km.
Our newest edition is the yellow route, that takes you high up through the pine forest of the Hawekwa mountain range with a steep downfall. This route is 17 km.
The swimming pool, filled with river water is there for your enjoyment afterwards as well as a good cup of coffee in the coffee shop ?Die ou Meul?
