Alkmaar Boutique Winery
You will find Alkmaar Boutique Vineyard amidst the foothills of the Hawequa mountains, in the Blouvlei valley near Wellington. It’s a beautiful place with a near perfect terroir, clean and pure. The winters are cold and the summers hot. Grapes seem to love it here.
It might be the Glenrosa shale, the cosy micro-vineyard, or the way the midnight mountain breeze takes the edge off the African heat. Whatever it is, it brings out the best in them, and the vines yield a very comfortable average of four to six tons per hectare.
