The Guest House is situated at Malanstasie alongside the main railway line from Cape Town to the North. Regular train services pass by as well as the exclusive Blue Train and Rovos Rail heading for such destinations as Victoria Falls and Dar es Salaam. The property now also includes an Olive grove of some 500 trees that produce olives commercially for both table and oil. Wine producing vineyards surround the property which is roughly 7 kilometres from the historical town of Wellington.
