The four double rooms have en-suite bathrooms and a separate suite looks out from its own verandah over the game reserve. There is a 4 000 hectare fynbos nature reserve, with a spectacular backdrop of mountains, to be explored on game drives or by mountain bike, and beautiful gardens with a unique swimming pool. The food is renowned, with lavish brunches and high teas, and a gourmet three-course dinner. The separate Wild Olive House, with its own swimming pool, can be hired on a self-catering or full-board basis.

Bartholomeus Klip will be offering a variety of winter specials from 1 May 2012 to 31 October 2012 (Excludes July 2012)
- Three nights for the price of two: Midweek break for two persons sharing, including all accommodation, all meals (high tea, sundowners, 4-course dinner, early morning coffee and pastries, and mid-morning brunch), two daily game drives, all activities (cycling, canoeing, fly-fishing, walking).
All this at a special rate of R6040.00 for two persons sharing.

- Experience cooking courses at Bartholomeus Klip in our farm kitchen with Head Chef Louise and her team. Courses with local food legends such as Judy Badenhorst and Michael Lauts are also on offer, as well as short courses tailor-made according to individual and group requirements. Course rates are R450.00 for a half day and R750 for a full day course. Included are a Bartholomeus Klip apron to take home, all ingredients, refreshments during the course, and recipe cards to take home
- We have also put together some great local packages for our in-house guests, from private wine and olive tastings to guided horse trails in the nearby Tulbagh valley, and a guided excursion to Franschhoek for a morning of fishing. These packages will be available from April 2012.
