With the release of our first cookbook Life on a Cape Farm in August 2013, we were delighted at the response from our guests and community regarding the recipes as well as the photographs taken by Bruce Tuck.
Along with the talented team at Random House Struik we put together a beautiful book we are really proud of and hope will inspire more people to come and visit this wonderful part of the Cape. We have recently learnt that our book was the winner for South Africa for best local cuisine book. The winner in each country will compete against winners in the same category in other countries for The Best in the World. The results will be announced on May 20-21, 2014 at the annual Awards event. It will take place in Beijing during the Beijing Cookbook Fair, May 19-21, 2014.
